Hand Cleaning
We hand treat and clean your garment individually at our store. Your dress never leaves our facility. We take every precaution to protect delicate beads, embroidery and lace during the cleaning process. You can trust us to give each item the individual care and attention it deserves.
Anti-sugar Stain Treatment
Spills containing sugar, salt and acid often dry spotless. These latent stains do not dissolve in ordinary dry cleaning and turn an ugly brown color over time. Our unique anti-sugar staining treatment ensures that all sugar, salt and acid (seen or unseen) is removed.
Environmentally-Pure Lasting Protection
Vacuum or plastic seals and other materials can damage fabrics. Our preservation material is different. Your gown is layered with acid-free tissue and carefully folded into an acid-free, museum quality, archival wedding chest. The wedding chest offers a window for easy viewing of your dress. If you want to open the box and inspect your dress this is not a problem as the wedding chest is not sealed. In fact, we recommend opening and inspecting your gown periodically (every 3-5 years) and refold it to prevent permanent creases. We will gladly assist with this.
Personal Inspection
To insure your satisfaction we allow and encourage you to inspect your gown before our museum quality preservation is complete.
Restoration
Restoration gives new life to your family heirloom or vintage treasure. If the wedding gown of your dreams is a family or vintage gown that had yellowed and stained over time, call us! We specialize in restoring antique gowns to their true color without damaging delicate fabrics or dyes. Our process removes stains and discoloration that ordinary dry cleaning cannot remove.
Our restoration abilities are not limited to wedding gowns. Want to restore your own christening gown so that your child may wear it? Have an heirloom scarf or handkerchief you’d like to restore to its original beauty? Not a problem. We use the same technique on all restoration opportunities and just like with the wedding gowns, each item is hand treated individually.
